Aeroplanes made individuals, things, and information more accessible across air space.
In the similar way, Information Technology makes individuals, organisations, data and services more accessible across electronic mediums.
It adds value to the organisation and their stakeholders (customers, vendors, etc.) by equipping them to share and gain accessibility to products, services, people, and data & information, irrespective of their actual physical location.
Why is Information Technology important to a business?
In today’s business world almost all processes, transactions, business operations are performed using Information Technology. Activities ranging from managing Production Systems, Payroll Automation, Customer Relationship Management, Lead Tracker, Application Development Tools, Business Analytics, Research, MIS etc are covered under the Information Technology gamut.
