The best part is, the locals do not only serve local dishes but also strive to innovate them with a mark of creativity. Even if Filipino food is already made from the finest ingredients found naturally at the heart of the Philippine archipelago, its flavor is further enhanced through the influence of Spanish, Chinese and Western cuisines. Over the course of centuries, the cooking techniques used by the foreigners inspired the Filipinos to create dishes that are uniquely indigenous.
