Could you introduce yourself and describe how you became a photographer?

I am a girl born in Czechoslovakia during communism. I was raised in the Czech Republic and studied Multimedia Communication at the university. I have started photography during my studies, it took me away from the area I have studied, which was commercial copywriting and project management. I fell in love with stories in pictures and I dedicated my professional and personal life to taking pictures. It was a tough journey covered with tears and blood, but it has worth for me, because I have found the right direction of my life.

How did you get into Fashion Photography?

It took quite a long journey to get into fashion photography it was like two years of shooting. I studied at university with a lot of amazingly talented designers. They had collections to show and photo-students were sick of being forced to photograph the "commercial design", they we interested more in their personal art. Fashion is the way how to create something new, crazy, divine and contemporary. Fashion is about creativity which should be running like leopard - with no regrets, no fear, with love, the elegance and beauty. Fashion is like personal expression of personality. Photography - portraiture is something timeless for me. Fashion is story in twelve pictures, but portrait should tell the story in one picture, in one moment. Fashion can get eased “out of fashion” but portrait work should last forever. I have taken pictures of people for more than 10 years, and I have feedback from my personal clients-for-life, they love pictures taken 5, 8 years ago. That somehow these photos are aging-proof, they seem to be better in question of time, they love the photos more than that day when they have received
