Why is exercise important? How does it affect your health? There are so many people in this world who have questions regarding their health and how exercise can help. I want to explain to people why exercise is so important and why people should take care of their body. I also want to explain how much exercise is important for athletes. Exercise could prevent heart diseases, and it’ll help your muscle move or function correctly. It can also prevent high blood pressure. In order to maintain a healthy lifestyle, two of the most important habits to practice are eating healthy diet, and exercising at least three times a week. Setting goals gives you long-term vision and short-term motivation . It focuses your acquisition of knowledge, and helps you to organize your time and your resources so that you can make the very most of your life. I like to set goal every week to make sure that I’m on top of everything, so that way i’m not stressed out as much. People I know believe that setting goals is a waste of time, but they don’t realize how important it is and they are the ones who are always stressed beyond their limits. For example, my goals for the week are to go on two mile run, making sure all my homework is done, eating healthy snacks and meals, exercise for at least 30 minutes, and lastly making sure I get enough sleep at night. The U.S. Department of Agriculture, which builds my plate says “a healthy diet consist of whole grains found in bread, crackers, rice or pasta.” They also say “include variety of fruits and vegetables, encouraging dark greens and orange vegetables, dry beans and peas.” Basically what I get from this article is that it’s very important to pay attention to what you eat. It’s very important that you don’t skip any meals! When you skip meals you are damaging your body on the inside. If I skip any meals i’m basically giving up on myself. When you exercise or workout and you skip a meal you will most likely get light headed and pass out, that’s not healthy for your
