English Composition is very helpful when starting your college career. I have learned and improved in many ways including: comma usage, citing pages, and word choice. This class not only is a requirement of almost every major, but also helps prepare you for other classes that require writing assignments. English has never been one of my favorite subjects, let alone, one I liked that much in general. I would always come into class, wait till last minute, and throw some words together. This English classes requires certain words not be used including: things, very, really, there are, there is, contractions. I am not going to lie and say I do not make those mistakes anymore, because I do. I just do not make them as often.
