The question of early education should be investigated and controlled on the arrange level because it has a very important impact on the economy, social structure and cultural level of different countries. Educators can facilitate the children with different material and environment in the classrooms that are in the early learning centers. The children need to develop their minds cognitively. “Children actively construct knowledge as they manipulate and explore their world” (Berk 2007). Children need to expand their abilities through their play experiences, and also through their fun experiences, they can develop correctly.
Children are naturally curious human beings. Children’s preschool years are essential to their social emotional and cognitive developmental skills. When children begin with preschool, they should be exposed to a variety of activities. In developing my curriculum, I would like to mold young children to become great achievers. My curriculum name is LA Mona.
“Play is developmentally appropriate for primary-age children and can provide them with opportunities that enrich the learning experience” (Copple & Bredekamp 2009). Early childhood education holds two main focuses; a child-based focus and a family-based focus. Early childhood education has positive outcomes on the child through their learning experiences, and their growth and development. Based on the family, the results of early education happen through the communication that the family has with the educators and by the encouragement they get from within themselves, and also from the educators. Children learn most of what they know through play.
Children learn expected school behavior in a daycare setting. Children also benefit from the structure and rules learned from daycare. Child care and preschool points out the need of this early learning to help kids adapt to expectations throughout school and life. An added benefit to the structure at a childcare center is, that children gain confidence in knowing what to do when the kindergarten teacher tells them to line up or raise their hand; things that are not traditionally taught or used at home. A quality child care program can spell success for children in the future, they are taught good behavior, given a chance to learn and socialize, and have a structure schedule to follow.
There are trends in early childhood education that make student’s learning effective. First is minimizing the achievement gap because each early education center has a diverse group of students such as children from low-income families and foster homes. They may gain sufficient funding from the authorities when children are doing well academically and it will result in closing the achievement gap. Second is technology in the classroom. It is the software and resources that meet the needs of the students and enriches the current material they are learning.
During the early years, children go through crucial development stages, and continuous, quality early childhood education can have a lasting, valuable effect on the overall development of children. High-quality early childhood development programs that offer developmentally adequate curricula, allow children to formulate specified cognitive skills at the suitable age. Developmentally adequate curricula assist in the development of cognitive skills which help them acquire new skills and knowledge. Preschool provides children the opportunities to take part in activities they wouldn’t typically do at home such as arts and crafts, science activities, sand and water play and music and movement. These activities can enhance children's’ lives, increase their development and supply them with the tools they need for the future.
These programs help with communication skills, parental-child interaction, socialization, and much more. “Stimulating environments are a must for healthy childhood development as are personal, family, home, learning, and community settings are all crucial”(Haider,2013,p143). Everything children are around has an influence on them, even the smallest things. Children who attend these programs are more likely to be successful because it shapes them into the person they are supposed to be. Early childhood education is key to future success in a person’s
Strong emphasis is given on nurturing relationships with the families of young children and functioning collaboratively with other professionals. Through student teaching, field placements, and practical learning, students build up competence in the use of developmentally appropriate practices. Major themes within the program comprise understanding and respecting family diversity, supporting families in their roles with young children, and addressing the necessities of children with special needs in inclusive

The importance of social-emotional development and toddlers makes an impact in a child life when these skills are developed starting in infancy. Encouraging positive behaviors and using positive discipline practices that helped to develop the ability to make good choices as well as recognizing the confidence that is built when these behaviors are repeated. This is a process for young children to learn these behaviors always remembering that a patient response will help especially when the behaviors are
