Open communication is essential with the components, as well as receiving feedback from the person doing active listening. This will provide an opportunity for discussing issues related to anything going on in their life or job. Every organization is built from a unique context, but they all have room for improvements. One must remember that God is our head and we must do everything that will please the Lord. This will help us build relationships between the perspective of diversity and inclusion.
When we showcase our gifts and talents, we should be grateful and show humility. We should not gloat our talents, but instead help others in order to gain a better understanding of others and the world around us. As Gula says “Gratitude is the virtue that gladly recognizes everything we have received as gifts to be shared, not possessions to be hoarded. Gratitude remembers, too, that God is the giver of these gifts” (Gula 30). My view on this is that gratitude and humility are one of the core values on living the good life because we can use these talents to gain understanding of our own self and others around us.
Everyone was put on this Earth for a special purpose. By being true to ourselves and God, we will discover his purpose for our lives. We should be leaders in the community by being good role models, someone that can always be watched as an example for how to handle situations. You should always be a person that is there to give advice or just be there for support. Being there for your friends or people you come in contact with everyday is what makes you stand out from everybody else and makes you a great person.
Peers are accountable for their commitment and they are free and confidence to be direct when promises are missed and quick to thank others when they are kept. When you can't keep the promise, it's perfect to update all who are affected so that they know well in advance. Team members must understand that the teammate's approaches and insights though different, but can be as valid as their own and this process helps members to understand that others approaches are as good as theirs. In order to build trust in an organization, as a leader, your people want to know your trustworthiness, your commitment, capability and how much you care about them. Put your people first and put yourself last.
Take caution to never compromise these building blocks of a relationship, as it will compromise your own being. A good leader will foster an atmosphere of growth, ingenuity, ideas, and comfort. It does not mean that a good leader will not focus on the growth of the organization, but rather involve and engage everyone in the organization. Show them their value and importance of their daily contribution is respected and welcomed. Communication is used everywhere and if you keep your communication open with others it makes it easier for people to come and talk to you and be open about certain things. In my professional and personal life I will make sure I’m always available to not only communicate with others but to listen as well.
