We propose tax credits for small businesses that provide health insurance, retirement benefits, and employment and internships to students. We also propose that tax credits be given to businesses that practice clean air and environmental safety. We believe that our youth are a key concern of the nation and we need to set certain measures to make them feel safe and secure as Americans. A measure that we feel needs to be taken is to raise taxes on such products as cigarettes and guns. Undocumented citizens should receive the same rights as American citizens. While in America, everyone should be protected from discrimination, unfair treatment, and injustice. This is because no one should be denied basic human rights. Also, immigrants will always attempt to come to the U.S., whether it's allowed or not. There is no reason why while in America, they should have less rights than regular citizens. It is only discriminatory and unnecessary. Lastly, immigrants have always provided for this country more than they have hurt it. If undocumented citizens help contribute to America, why should they not be allowed American rights?
To achieve great opportunities in the United States you have to be educated. Most undocumented immigrants are very smart but unfortunately they just can’t afford to pay for college expenses because they are not giving the chances to receive financial aid. I believe once you are living in America for more than five years you should automatically become a citizen, because you start to pick up America lifestyle. Most immigrants contribute to our country, whether it is them cleaning up the park or working in factory they help America function because the job they are doing many American wouldn’t do it, so therefore I feel that American should give them the opportunity to receive financial aid.
Immigration has always been a large conflict people have faced all across the world. There are plenty of reasons why people migrate to a country, whether it may be the United States or any other particular one. Many people often come in an attempt to escape poverty, crime, or to simply have a better opportunity to better their lifestyle. Although there are people who migrate and commit severe crimes, there are others who sacrifice themselves in order to live a better life. Many people come to America because it is the only country that is mainly multi-cultural. No one should deport people out of the country if the certain culture of America is found on people moving from their home country to find something new. There is a possible outcome of failure and crimes as any other country deals with, but that should not stop people to envision the big picture. Although there is an increase of terrorism act, open borders being allow would make a great impact because Americans can learn a better understanding of other cultures, there is an economic increase, and everyone is allowed to achieve the American dream.
