Globalization can impact on a country’s traditional culture and has different aspects which affect the world in several ways suach as politics, competition, finance, language, culture, technology, religion and economics.
Regarding the language, the most popular language is Mandarin, which has 845 million speakers, followed by Spanish, which has 329 million speakers, and english, which has 328 million speakers. Most radio programs are in english and about 50% of all internet users use the internet in english. Language also affects Turkey too. You can see billboards which are written in english. Moreover, there are a considerably amount of english words that we use in our social life.
Regarding competition, the companies in industries have to develop their products in order to increase competition between the rival companies. This causes new good to be exposed in the country.
Cultural globalization causes growth of cross-cultural contacts, identites which represent cultural diffusion, they want to increase the standard of living and losing the language. Furthermore, greater immigration, including illegal immigration increases globalization. The games which becomes popular all around the world, such as Pokemon, Sudoku, Youtube and Facebook are substantial segments of the Earth’s population which affects globalization. Cultural globalization aggects Turkey very much. Turkey used to depend on eastern traditions but due to globalization, nowadays Turkey has become closer to the western traditions. For instance, as Guardianweekly points out, Pakistan’s youth has put their faith in rock and roll. They are influenced by another country’s music style nd they have adopted rock and rock as their popular music. This is a good representation of globalization. Turkish people also like rock and roll music. There are many clubs which plays rock and roll music, and many people who wears different types.
There are many good impacts of technological globalization and using such technology as the internet, communication satellites, wireless telephones and so on. Besides Turkey started to bring new technological products such as 3G which supplied in other countries before. My country takes an example by the other countries, and this shows that Turkey has been started to globalize.
Globalization is the process of people of different cultures or countries integrating through interacting through trade or the use of social media. In “Point: Globalization Provides a Better Life for All” By Jennifer Graham, she provides a valid point of view of how globalization has benefited society. “Globalization enriches the human experience through increased cultural and economic integration, which promotes diversity by opening society to new technology, communication and ideas...Moreover, globalization helps to break down discrimination against people on the basis of religious beliefs or race” (Para, 11,13). Globalization has an impact on my lifestyle because I am currently surrounded by technology and different cultural food. With globalization I have access to different foods that i would normally never get to try, also technology has allowed me to gain knowledge about different culture I would normally not know, this results in me being more informed and benefited because of globalization bringing the different culture of the world so much closer
Globalization is nothing new and will continue to manifest itself in non-western societies and cultures throughout the world. Some cultures accept the changes that come with globalization. Most cultures bring and find both economic and cultural growth to be the outcome of accepting globalization. However, there is always the risk that globalization comes with the possibility of destroying rituals and unique cultural practices bringing about a decline or stoppage in the progress that a society was achieving. Globalization is an unstoppable force; while we are powerless to stop it, we must be responsible when introducing change, and strive to preserve the heart of the culture being effected by globalization. (Kim, 2009)
To globalize means to “to extend to other or all parts of the globe; make worldwide” (Dictionary.com, 2010). While globalization is a fairly ‘new’ term, it is actually as old as our ancestors. The process was longer back then but, as they were discovering new foreign lands, they were bringing commerce and culture with them. Silks, spices and crops were traded along trade routes and opened new worlds of luxury and taste. Today, globalization has influenced our modern world far beyond those predecessors’ wildest dreams. The Western culture has infiltrated almost every corner of the globe. Its capital, infrastructures, knowledge, and talent can be found all over. It has a dramatic impact on India and China. These countries in turn, have also passed on their influence to other countries. It is a never-ending domino effect that circumvents the globe. Some of the Western influence has been intentional and negative but the overall effects are positive on countries economies and cultures.

Globalization also positively affects developed countries more than they really are. The United States is not one of those countries that don’t need to develop that much however is greatly affected by globalization anyway. Globalization has spread the American influence throughout the planet, and has opened the country’s economic market to an increase. Globalization also makes communications with other countries easier. In a time of emergency, America can get to allies easier than without it. In conclusion, Globalization helps every country, big or small.
Globalization is a term which became popular after the 3th quarter of the 20th century. It is used to describe the movement of people, information, commodities and financial tools across national borders which increase the interconnection between countries economically, politically, socially and culturally. The effects of globalisation on different fields are one of the main discussion topics of these days. One can easily find thousands of articles on the impacts of globalisation on economy, agriculture, politics, democracy, science and even on climate. However, globalisation and its effects on culture is an unheeded area. The defenders of globalisation consciously avoid discussing culture, because they all know that globalisation is the main source of cultural genocide.
Kofi Annan once said, “Arguing against globalization is like arguing against the laws of gravity”. Globalization is an inevitable phenomenon in human history that brings about greater interconnectivity and integration of people worldwide. Over the past few decades, the pace of global integration has accelerated quickly and dramatically due to unprecedented advancements in technology, communications, science, transport and industry (The World Bank, 2013). Globalization affects economical, cultural, technological, political and social aspects of a country. In this essay, we’ll be talking about cultural globalization and its effects solely. Cultural globalization is the rapid movement of ideas, attitudes, values across national borders and the “the emergence of a specific set of values and beliefs that are largely shared around the planet” (Castells, 2009, p. 117). Circulation of ideas has allowed people to partake in extended social relations that cross national and regional borders, leading to the diffusion of cultures. Due to increasing interconnectedness, there is formation of shared norms and knowledge in which people associate their individual and collective cultural identities with. Cultural globalization is a double-edged sword with both benefits and disadvantages to society. However, its threats to national traditions outweigh the progress it contributes to society.
The global economic environment has become more interlinked in the 21st century than ever before because more business enterprises have realized the importance of having trade relations within and outside their countries. Several prevailing factors that have a direct impact on the global economy influence greatly how the world business environment is likely to be at any given time (Harrison, 2010). This paper will examine the influence of factors on world economy. It will also examine how these factors shape global economic environment.
Besides its economic ups and downs globalization has a tremendous effect on cultural values. World has a cultural diversity in itself. Every nation every country has its own traditions values practices of cultural activities. These create a diversity which every part of the world can be pointed out by their own characteristics. By the beginning 20th century with the effects of industrialization and common usage of communication devices and transpotation becoming faster and more comfortable economy started to play the most important role in a state's political policies. Trade became one of the main incomes of the countries and trade required close interaction between countries and decisions were started to be taken to ease traders by governments.
In conclusion I found out that Globalization effects what we eat and what clothes we wear , also globalization means the way companies, ideas and lifestyles are spreading around the
Among different countries. And Products with unique attributes are unlikely to meet any competition in the overseas markets.
“The World Bank defines globalization as the growing integration of economies and societies around the world” (America.gov, 2006) For me the impact of globalization when it comes to food fashion, film music and dance is when like minded groups come together from all different political dynamics that create virtual communities across the world.
Globalisation is a process of interaction and integration between people of different nations, so that the world becomes more interconnected and interdependent. This process leads to the exchange of world views, products, and ideas across nations. Hence, it has a huge influence in many aspects of our lives, one of it being our culture. According to the Oxford Dictionary, ‘culture’ is defined as the ideas, customs, and social behaviour of a particular people or society. It has evolved and changed positively and negatively since the start of humankind and globalisation is one of its factors. Beneficial impacts of globalisation on culture may include how there will be increased cultural diversity, as well as how there will be increase in harmony
Globalization refers to the absence of barriers that every country had. Yes, it has helped to demolish the walls that separated us .Globalization, which is the process of growing interdependence among every country in this planet, can be seen as a sign of hopeful and better future by some, but for others it represents a huge disaster for the whole world. That’s why we are going to see the negative effect that globalization has on culture then focus on the ethical disadvantage it brought, to finally talk about the damage it did to skilled workers.
Globalization affects this world and the people of this world in many ways. It is the idea of making the entire world like a single country.
