They may not be in every article you read, but they are on the rise. They are working so hard just so that they can make a difference in the world. Although this person may not have made a huge impact on the world YET, and done amazing things, they are striving so that they can one day achieve this and make our world superior. She changed people in many ways as a result of teaching, as president of a school, and as a true African American woman. As a child, she wanted to teach and help others, and her dream came true. Mary McLeod Bethune is now remembered today for her many works.

She is always looking for ways to give back because she knows what it like to not have much. She loves to help kids in need. Dolly Parton is one of the most inspirational people in the world, and her influence has affected so many people that her legacy will live on long after she's gone.

What makes a person influential? Influential people make positive changes for others, are leaders, and set good examples for people to follow. Helen Keller is considered one of the most influential people because even though she had a disability and had to learn to work through it, she later became determined to learn about the world and she wanted to help improve the lives for others. Helen Keller once said “I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something; and because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do something that I can do” (Keller). For example, she decided to teach the blind to be courageous and to make their lives successful, diligent, and significant for others and for themselves.
There are a ton of men who have changed the world in the past and now days. Some of the most impactful men who changed the world spiritually were reformers. They stood up for what they believed in and wouldn’t back down no matter what. They were persecuted, made fun, out casted, and put in jail with a trail. Some of these incredible men are George Wishart, Thomas Bilney, and Ulrich Zwingli.
We see these people as role models and look up to how driven they are. Imagine if you could do something enormous that could effect thousands of lives. Harriet Beecher Stowe was someone who did by working hard to achieve her goal of getting African American slaves freed. Also driven and influential in their society were Marcus Garvey, Janina Stupnicka, and Augusto Cesar Sandio. They all have impacts on other’s lives. Influential people are driven to accomplish and be a part of what will help societies’ needs.

Maya influenced society by inspiring others to write. “She said: ‘The first problem is you don’t have women in here of equal status. person may not be able to do a whole lot physically to change the world, but one

Oprah Winfrey is an African American woman who is known as a U.S. media celebrity. She has done so much to contribute to society as we know it and her legacy will forever live on. Mrs. Winfrey is well known and she uses her platform for positivity and love, which is a huge reason for her success. She is an intelligent leader who worked hard for the spot she has in life and strives to encourage others to be successful also. Mrs. Winfrey has written books, acted and produced films, hosted an infamous television show, and given to charities. Her hard work and dedication has made her one of the most influential women of all time. She strived for greatness and accomplished what she wanted out of life, despite various obstacles that had been in the
Sojourner Truth for instance was a wonderful person with a courageous mind and strong ambition. She had a major impact on the US today concerning color barriers and challenged justice wherever she thought it should be challenged. During my exchange to the US I learned a lot about this woman and was really amazed by what she achieved. To me she is the real example for a strong-minded person who was able to change everything around her without changing herself for others.
Although Oprah has experienced excruciating periods of her life, she still has proved that anyone can make a difference no matter what his/her background may be. Oprah is living proof that anything is possible, and dreams do come true. Oprah has proved to people everywhere that true joy in life comes from giving to those who are in need. “I define Joy as a sustained sense of well-being and internal piece – a connection to what matters” (Oprah Winfrey).
To tell you the truth, I did not know who she was until I heard her name and work from one of my colleague. After the research, I came to know that she is a social activist and a lecturer who has dedicated her life to combating the sexual exploitation of women and children. I believe each of us uses different spectacles to view life and she (Anuradha koirala) helps me to see the bigger picture of life. Her works inspire me as she never gives up and encourages to be better version of own self. She strengthens my aim because she is able to achieve something I know I never could. She provide me with food for thought which betters me and at least motivate me to grow as a person. Anuradha koirala is my superhero and following research shows who she is and why she has meant so much to me.
