Immigration restructuring, one time the chief main concern going into the year of 2013, has come to somewhat of a screeching halt.

The present arrangement is a disaster. Foreign students are denied acceptance to U.S. colleges, individuals that specialize in skills are banned from being employed in America, and even political refugees have to deal the consequences of our fragmented immigration system.

The procrastination of not dealing with the issues of immigration’s has given way to 11 million people living in the U.S. illegally. They contribute less than what they truly can to America, are susceptible to manipulation, and disturb an already perplexing immigration policy.

Trying to enclose the country from the rest of the world is not a solution to the issue at hand. It would be problematic for a mostly free civilization with wide-ranging borders to exclude itself from the entire world. Immigration’s economic rewards are noteworthy. Many immigrants own businesses, have founded companies, generating employment, and are contributing to American society in a positive manner...
