Background: The Illuminati was an 18th century secret society, thought up by Adam Weishaupt, made up of influential intellectuals and freethinkers of the time. The Illuminati, also known as the Bavarian Illuminati, opposed the roman catholic church’s control over philosophy and science. Though the original group was done away with in 1787, later organizations claimed to be descended from the original and many claim the Illuminati today. The Illuminati conspiracy is that there is a “global elite” society that either controls the world or seek to control the world. Person 1: Jackson S. says, “I have always looked for some philosophy that matches the way I think, and I’ve found it in our organization “illuminati”. The Illuminati is not just changing my life - we’re changing mankind.” Person 4: Collin H. Says “ I stand with the Illuminati now. I have faith in the design and move forward courageously. Since then, I haven’t feared going into college and I’ve even spread the message to friends from all walks of life.
