An illegal alien is a foreign national who is living without authorization in a country of which they are not a citizen. Should these people be allowed to live in our country without authorization? This has been a problem in our country for as long as I can remember. Who is going to do something about this problem and when are they going to do it? According to CNN, “Illegal aliens who have overstayed their visas are not necessarily committing a crime just by remaining in the country illegally” (Binder). Foreigners are entering the country everyday on valid work or travel visas and overstay for different reasons. Most illegal aliens are from Mexico and Central America, but the people who over-stay are mainly Asian, Middle Eastern, and European decent (Binder).
