My deep desire to study Chemical Engineering at Yale transcends my personal benefits and ambitions. For me, the opportunity to attend Yale will literally become an opportunity for many other who might have similar desires. There I will learn the intricate dynamics of politics and gain the expertise to completely evaluate the geo-political scope of any country especially Guyana and then execute programs and policies to stimulate a viable and sustainable economy. The myriad of facilities and research available at Yale, especially the biomedical, nanotechnology and biomolecular research, will supply the versatility and knowledge needed to undertake research home at our prospective Polytechnic school. These ideas have possessed me for some time and motivated my steps in applying to Yale, with continue humility, devotion and a Yale’s education I will one day bring Guyana on an economical platform similar to that of Singapore.
