Graduating from high school with a diploma is not enough in my eyes, furthering my education is what I in vision in that it makes me strive stronger for my future goals to be an Ultrasound Technician. In fact, at first I did not feel the need to attend college for the reason that it was way too expensive, how can I and my parents afford it and it truly worth my time? However my counselors convinced me that college is the way to go, they shared with me that there’s a solution to these problems which were financial aid, grants, scholarship opportunities, and they mentioned, if I take advantage of these opportunities it will assist with money for college, which made me contemplate college in a total different light. That’s why strongly feel as result of people not taking advantage of opportunities everyday to receive a college education, since it can provide you with extra knowledge than a high school education though more valuable job opportunities. Not to mention the world has changed drastically over the last couple of years where large amount of jobs expect to recognize your education level past a high school education. I am longing to be that person the employer hires through of my level of education and actually pay me higher than a person without a high school education would receive, considering I worked hard to achieve my future goals rather than them being handed to me or me starting all the way at the bottom, taking years to work my way to the top for the reason that I don’t have a college education. Through the process of attending college, there are more stuff to look forward to learning allied with hands-on experiences, being a team builder, volunteering to support the community, developing organizational skills, and Budgeting your finances, which can prepare me not only for college but the outside world which I’m absolutely looking forward
