There are actually five careers that I am interested in. One of them is a writer, a baker, maybe a general manager, another option is a psychiatrist, and the last one a social worker. A writer because I love to write, even though I’m not good at it, it doesn’t stop me. A baker because I like baking, mainly baking cakes is what I’m good at. A general manager because I’m somewhat an organized person and I like to make sure that things are done accordingly. A psychologist because I think that I can relate to people who have problems that others might not seem to understand. And last a social worker because apparently some test that I took said that I would be good at it.

To become a baker you need to have experience as being an apprentice in a bakery. Going to community college or a culinary school can help you broaden you knowledge in baking, such as finding out about ingredients, and knowing what techniques to use. Taking a class in basic nutrition can help when it comes to certain things that people have problems with, especially allergies. There are four different levels when it comes to the pastry business; retail sales, staff training, management, and baking sanitation. An average annual income for a baker is $22,000. There are various positions in the business world, but the one that caught my eye was the general manager position. A general manager or vice president (there are various names) is the right hand man (or in my case woman) to the president. They pay attention to detail and make sure that everything goes accordingly to plan and that is goes smoothly. When it comes to education you should of course have a business course and have experience; preferably doing an internship. Having an MBA could help you if you want a high position. An average income is $96,000 but also depending where you work at. Being a psychiatrist is something that I’ve also been thinking about lately. Why? Because I feel that I can relate to those who have problems and I feel that I can help them. About eight years of post-undergraduate study is required.
