We are Thankful I use up most of my free time when I have it playing sports, going places or spending time with my friends going to places to eat and to have fun. There are many things that I am thankful for such as my home that I live in, the clothes I wear, the places I go and things I get to do. , but I am most thankful for my family and friends, my house, and my ability to do things. I am thankful for my family and my friends because they do a lot for me. When I want to go some place like the movies or the mall my mom or my dad gives me money to go if I already did the things that i needed to do. I am thankful for my family because of all the things that they give me like my cloths, and my shoes, and for the big house we live
When the great holiday of Thanksgiving comes to mind, most people think of becoming total gluttons and gorging themselves with a seemingly unending amount of food. Others might think of the time spent with family and friends. The whole basis of the holiday is family togetherness, fellowship, and thankfulness for blessings received during the previous year.
Thanksgiving for my family probably looks a lot like the thanksgiving for most families in the United States. My family always does their best to remember to give thanks for everything that we had that past year and everything that we have in general. From each other, to the house we are in to the food and the cars we drive. It is very valued in my family to give thanks before we indulge in the delicious meal that was prepared by so many different
Being thankful is a very holy thing to do and it gets you closer to God which makes being thankful important. Being thankful is also important because being thankful is a big thing to make you happy. If you don’t appreciate the things you have but instead only think about everything that you could have you will never be happy. Appreciating the things that you have and being thankful for them will make you happy. Also, at one point you might lose what you have and be left with nothing, and only then you will notice that you had many things that you should have appreciated but now, you don’t have it anymore. So, it's better to appreciate what you have now like your grandparents, where you live, and your parents because you might not have it later.
Thanksgiving Day is my favorite holiday and it’s not because of the food. I’m blessed to be part of a family that uses any opportunity to hold a feast—that’s how much we love food. For me, Thanksgiving Day is a time of reflection and appreciation.
One reason why I am thankful on Thanksgiving is my awesome family, they cheer me up on thanksgiving, we go on lots of vacations, and most of all, they are the best. They are the best because they are the nicest family ever! They always take us out on Thanksgiving.
"Why be thankful in thanksgiving, food is better.” that is often said by people that really don’t care about the holiday and they just do it for the food. Like the name states “Thanksgiving” is the time to say what you’re thankful for and to enjoy time with your family. For many people, thanksgiving is just a holiday to eat and just eat. I am thankful for three blessings
The definition of thankful is expressing gratitude and relief. It is important to be thankful because it shows that we appreciate each other and that we really care about what people do for us. Being thankful brings people closer together because it makes them happy. Within life you have to focus on what you do have instead of what you don´t have. Even if you think something you have is trash, it is actually another person’s treasure. If you have stopped being thankful, you have fallen asleep in life. Being thankful helps make a positive and loving environment. There are things you are going to want and don’t get, but at least you have something. On that note, I am very thankful for school, family time, and my grandparents.
Gratitude is many things to many people. It is wonder; it is appreciation; it is looking at the bright side of things; it is abundance; it is thanking someone; it is "counting blessings." It is savoring; it is not taking things for granted; it is present-oriented. The average person often associates gratitude with saying thank you for something they received or a kind gesture. However, gratitude is much broader. I invite you to consider its numerous benefits and how you can regularly incorporate the practice of gratitude in your life.
Starting with my parents, my dad and my mom are a huge part of my life. They had showed me so much, my mom shows me how to be humble, nice, shy at times. In her face I could always see her sensibility, we sometimes find ourselves looking at
My mom has to be best person in my life. Like I 'm so thankful for God to have had blessed me with a mother like her. Even though me and her argue a lot due to fact we are the same person. She is still the best. The simple fact that she is very intelligent and challenges me to reach my fullest potential in everything I do. By making me read every day, work every day, and never spoiling me not one bit. She taught me and still is today that the hard work you put in now, you will be awarded later on in life. She has worked none stopped to provide and support me and brother since the beginning. She just is an incredible person due to the fact she puts family before her own self. She rather feed me and my brother and let
As believers, we should be thankful for a LOT of things: First of all, we should be thankful for God’s grace in our lives. Ephesians 2:8 tells us that grace is God giving us what we need instead of what we deserve. All that God does to for, for you and through you is by the grace of God. Secondly, we should be thankful for God’s plan for our lives. Your life is no accident! God created you with a purpose and a plan. If you’re breathing God has a plan for you! (Jeremiah 29:11). God has prepared a predestined path for you. Even though we often stray off our paths and make bad decisions God promises us in Romans 8:28
I don’t know where I’d be without my family. We’ve been through thick, and thin. I’m very glad that I have them for moral support, and can depend on them for advice. They’ve taught me almost everything I know about life, whether it’d be household chores, manners, morals, cooking, etc. I’m pleased to have a very caring family that would do anything for me. I feel safe and secure with them. They provide me with the basic necessities such as food, water, and a roof over my head. I would consider all of the things they provide me with as luxuries, because not everyone has a comfortable place to reside in, or food to eat. If I didn’t have these basic necessities, then it would be another thing I would have to stress about in life. I like to joke around with them a lot, and it brings a smile to my face when I see their reaction. Having a loving, and supportive family is what makes me
I’ve racked my head for three days straight trying to figure out what I was going to write my gratitude entry on. I would find myself typing twenty thousand miles a minute then going back and erasing it just as fast. Truth is gratitude is a hard thing to realize and an even harder thing to show. Especially when you are at the point where you feel like the world has gave you absolutely nothing to be thankful for. That thought scared me beyond belief. Not the fact that I thought the world was plotting on me, but the fact that for three days I couldn’t find not one thing to be thankful for. My feelings kind of took a nose dive because I felt like it made me selfish and that I was taking everyone for granted. I couldn’t pinpoint exactly when I
I play my favorite sport three times a week. I always find time for all of my friends. One of my favorite pass times is to lay in bed and watch Friends, or stare at my phone to see my favorite youtubers entertain the world. Even my homework can be fun for me to do in my free time. After this experience, I find that my free time isn’t wasted after all.
I am grateful for my life in many ways and for many reason, I was born 5 weeks premature and one of twins. Though my twin did not survive long enough for me to know him it gave me a purpose to try new things. Whenever I am scared of a new experience such as snow-boarding I think about how lucky I am to be alive and well. This thought helps me to spread my wings and embrace the unknown. Even simple things make me feel thankful, such as running in the rain or taking a walk with my dog or just a lazy Sunday afternoon with myself makes me think how great it is to be alive and here. I have always delight in the small moments in life and to think that they could never exist for me is depressing. Furthermore, being able to share my thoughts and feeling with people I love is something that brings me great joy.
