Yes I am a feminist. I learned to be a feminist from the amazing women who I have witness build the way for all of us young women who came from environments where our future was pre-determined. But the women who I was taught by were polar opposites then the women I witnessed while back at home. I am not against welfare however I do feel that it enables some women to be lazy and uninspired to do better. These women become too comfortable with a free hand out. While there are lots of hard working fathers who are single and still supporting their household alone.
Before attending Milton Hershey my future was predetermined, and that was that I would be another statistic of Harrisburg. Mrs. Hershey was an amazing women who I look up to a lot. She took an idea and turned it into a legacy. She came from a poor family, and married an inspiring man who was working to create caramel and chocolate. He finally succeeded, and she didn’t just sit back and spend all of his hard earned money. Instead she had her own vision and she convinced her husband to join her in opening a school for orphan boys.

Women from the past have set up stepping stones that we as women today should be trying to add to each and every day. I am a big advocate for women going into the army, and actually fighting in war. The future of feminism is only getting better seeing as though we finally have a women running for president, as well as lots of women making government decisions. There is a huge rise in the number of women that are getting into more mescaline professions, without being judged by their spouse who may not have a job as decent as their wife’s. Strong women are sometimes looked over, because men see them as to controlling and extremely intimidating.
