The California Fuel Cell Partnership is an organization which includes auto manufacturers, energy companies, fuel cell technology companies, and government agencies, that work together to boost the development of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. [1][2] In 1999, two state government agencies, California Air Resources Board and California Energy Commission, came together with six private sector companies, Ballard Power Systems, DaimlerChrysler, Ford Motor Company, BP, Shell Hydrogen and ChevronTexaco to form the California Fuel Cell Partnership (CaFCP). The CaFCP is based in California. [2][3] The main office has infrastructure for vehicle maintenance and has hydrogen fueling station as well as a methanol fueling station. [2][3] More members have joined the CaFCP on the past years, and at the present it includes 8 automotive companies, 4 energy providers, 2 fuel cell technology developers and 6 government agencies. [2][3] The CaFCP aims at exemplifying fuel cell technology by operating vehicles on California’s roads to create a public awareness about alternative fuel infrastructure technology which can be commercialized along with providing a clean and safe environment while being cost effective. [1][2] Presently CaFCP is illustrating fuel cell electric vehicles in California, along with the fueling stations to cater to the fuel requirements, under real-world environment. [1][2][3] The CaFCP is trying to find ways of increasing the number of fuel cell electric vehicles on roads by taking into consideration the core issues like fuel infrastructure requirements and the present shortcomings, vehicle and fuel safety, market spur, and customer acceptance. [1][3] The CaFCP is trying a number of strategies like vehicle demonstrations, pr... ... middle of paper ... ...aim of public education and awareness about this newest form of technology through the active involvement of media and press. [2][3] The organization also aims at conduction fleet demonstrations of the cars and the buses. In addition to this, the CaFCP plans on establishing more fuel stations to support the demonstrations in different regions so as to achieve cost effectiveness. [1][2] In a recent release, the CaFCP has announced the establishment of about 40 new hydrogen stations which aim at meeting the current as well as the future requirements of its consumers. [3] Fuel cell vehicles with this latest technology guarantee a very promising future both in terms of environment as well as energy sufficiency. Within a few years the organization aims at establishing itself securely in California as well as rest of the World providing a very sustainable environment.
Increasing environmental awareness, coupled with a responsible American government and improved technology, have all contributed to the comeback of low-and zero-emissions vehicles in the US. It remains to be seen whether the automakers and oil companies will once again work to halt this progress, or embrace it as the technology of a more responsible future.
The company hosted twelve events in twelve different cities, which drew in almost a thousand individuals to their events. Their partners and employees, approximately 300 nationwide, were there staffing the events and also provided advice on a broad spectrum of topics

Cars are a fantastic invention. They make our lives even more carefree by getting us from place to place quickly while eradicating the need for legs altogether. There is no doubt that the benefits of driving from place to place are numerous. However, driving takes a whole lot of fuel, and everyone knows that fuel for cars isn’t the most plentiful (or cheapest!) of resources.
A revolutionary environmental impact to pollution is provided by electric cars which produce zero emissions and provide a replenishable fuel resource. Toxic emissions into our earth’s environment would be reduced immediately as gas powered, pollution emitting vehicles are replaced with non-polluting, battery powered vehicles. Not only will pollution be reduced, but the means that power these vehicles are a renewable resource. Electricity can now be created by environmentally safer means, such as hydro-electric dams, wind farms, and various types of power plants proving a sound resource. With a safer, less polluting, renewabl...
Shortly after the Kohlsaat race, Thomas Edison said he believed gasoline, not electricity, would provide the dominant power source for the automobile of the future. "As it looks at the present," he s...
Tesla designs and ideas are changing the world’s perspective on this technology as majority of our vehicles run on gasoline, and fossil fuels declining over time in supply. Tesla Motors believes that they provide an optimal solution to this growing problem and that their solution dominates among the competition of hybrid and hydrogen cars. This is supported by the fact that hybrids create carbon emissions and hydrogen cars produce waste water as a result while electric vehicles provide zero emissions and utilize simpler technology. Their car markets are primarily within the US but over the years they have expanded internationally and their popularity has blossomed within Europe as they have spread from Germany, to UK, Denmark, Norway, France, Italy, ...

Environmental concerns have been raised from time to time because of the dependency on the gasoline-fueled engine as the chief auto powertrain technology. This has resulted in exposing many automobile users to unpredictable prices of fuel. These issues were, however, the reason for the inception of Tesla Motors so as to bring into existence another set of automotive which serves the similar purpose; but uses another form of energy that being electricity to drive them instead of the disadvantageous gasoline-powered engine. This invention was influenced by a number of factors in terms of their planning and performance (Hunger, 2010).
Imagine that you’re driving on an open highway in the middle of summer. All you see in front of you is asphalt for miles and miles. The windows are down and your favorite song comes on the radio. You’re behind the wheel of a Tesla Model S, the newest electric car that can go from zero to sixty miles per hour in 2.4 seconds. This will soon be the future of all motor vehicles. Electric cars are beginning to have colossal impacts on our society because of their energy efficiency, performance benefits, and the fact that they are less harmful to the environment. In the near future, electric cars will dominate the road and eventually the planet’s overall need for oil will decrease immensely.
Environmentally Friendly Electric vehicles are today’s zero-emission vehicles. They have no tailpipes and emit no pollutants. Instead of gasoline from oil refineries, electric vehicles get their “fuel” from electric power stations. Although power plants using fossil fuels do have emissions, power plant emissions generated for electric vehicle use are typically much lower than emissions from the comparable use of gasoline-powered cars. For power plants using renewable energy sources like wind, solar and hydropower, no air pollution is created.
...ion free. While the technology does exist, the complete implement of zero emission transportation has to be pushed. Ones concern for their role in changing the planet must expand beyond their individual realm of influence. The education and structure of developing countries will play a key role in determining transportations future. As humans progress the flow of outdated technology sifts down through the various economies, to some the idea of transportation through the internal combustion engine is still a novel idea. For the future of transportation to remain as useful and dependable as it is today, a conscious effort must be made to correct climate change while influencing those whose are still captivated by technology and unaware of its catastrophic effects to take a new approach and enable the entire population of the world to commute with sustainable energy.
In an age where our dependence on fossil fuels and other expendable resources is dramatically increasing as our supply is decreasing, it is imperative that new forms of energy arise. Although it is still in very early stages, it is fundamentally plausible that hydrogen could become a major fuel source in cars. For example, Honda has already released five hydrogen fuel cell cars.
Hydrogen would be one of the easiest sources of renewable energy to incorporate into our current energy infrastructure. Since hydrogen is a gas of normal temperature, it is possible to have it be used as a fuel in vehicles similar to current ones. For example, Hydrogen could be introduced into the vehicle as a gas, stored...
For years man has relied on energy in order to be successful in life. The industrial revolution relied on coal for the new inventions brought into the world. Life as has never been the same since then. However since that time, there has been little done to improve on energy efficiency and humans still primarily rely on fossil fuels for energy. For over a hundred years the Earth has become more polluted and dirtier than ever before. Now, with new, innovative technology there is an opportunity to change that and to rely on renewable, cleaner sources of energy. The main source of energy for the world should be alternative energy instead of energy from fossil fuels.
