“Little more than 3,000 tigers are left in the wild.” (Dybas, Last of the Forest Guardians) This is becoming a huge problem in today’s time because there should not be an issue with tigers. They lived peacefully in the wild until we come along and disrupted their homes, families, and lives. Tigers are just as important to the world as all the other animals. There have been many precautions taken in other countries to try and help the tiger survive. There are many things that contribute to the endangerment of tigers. The main two reasons tigers are having trouble surviving in the wild is because of the loss of habitat and hunters. Undoubtedly, there are other reasons why tigers are struggling today, but these two are the main causes. It also shows that there are doctors out in the world that are aware of the things that are going on besides things that are happening with people ("Wildlife Conservation Society"). Tigers are endangered and they will continue to stay that way as long as there are hunters out in the world. It will also stay that was as long as their habitats are taken from them. Tigers are being left with nowhere to live because humans are taking over their land in the forests by tearing down the trees and building houses on the land (O'Neill). This is a serious concern in the world and measures need to be taken to secure the tiger a place in the future.
