I know that I am just a freshman college, so I should not have much say about what needs to be changed in a class, but I think that I can rightly have a say in this matter. Throughout my high school and first two quarters of college, I was able to understand teachers and methods that are effective, versus those that make a subject harder to learn. Based on how I was able to learn in my Human Anatomy class, in comparison to some of my other classes I realize that the problem was not with me, but rather with the teacher. Baker college needs to reevaluate one the teachers of the Human Anatomy course that I took.

Education includes enlightenment on new material, and the gaining of more knowledge through studying, reading, or observing. One of the ways that a person can receive an education is by going to school and then furthering your education in college. So, the College should make sure that the professors can help in your education, by teaching the class effectively. The professor did not meet the expectations of a good college education. The professor fell short of the having the qualifications of a good college professor, so therefore Baker College needs to make a change.

When looking at not just this class but all of my classes and looking at how I have been approaching them versus how I should approach them it definitely puts my mind in a different perspective because I am a person that “strives for excellence” and if I am able to “ace” a class then I definitely try and do that but a lot of the time that doesn’t mean sitting there and actually learning the information it means

Education is a vital part of society. It serves the beneficial purpose of educating our children and getting them ready to be productive adults in today's society. But, the social institution of education is not without its problems. Continual efforts to modify and improve the system need to be made, if we are to reap the highest benefits that education has to offer to our children and our society as a whole.
Hitler said "Education is poison", do we think so too? Because our education may be better than many other countries, but it definitely isn't at where it should be. Going back to the IQ test, does one number represent all that a student has learned or knows? If schools do not show continual improvement federal intervention may take place. Teachers need to do more than teach. They also need to inspire. With the inspiration and motivation, no student will be interested in the course and his or her GPA will drop and they will be at a higher risk of becoming a drop out. If the student has lost their inspiration, they may never get it back. Trying to simply take a dual enrollment class during the spring semester of high school was a struggle I did not win. Freshmen year, I just did what was needed and that was all, I ended the year with around a 2.4 GPA. So I was not eligible for the program for the first semester. I knew by the end of the semester I would have a 3.0 or higher GPA. At the beginning of the year I talked to my guidance counselor and she said, ok, come talk to me in my office. There she said I needed a GPA of 3.0 or higher and I said, "Ok I will have that next semester", so she told me to come back later on in the year. So we took the PLAN test and I talked to her then (it was just before winter break, when we received our scores).
