Jim’s Perspective
All of a sudden I woke up to someone saying hello and I jumped up and turned around to see who was on the island with me. To my surprise I saw Huckleberry Finn, thinking that he was dead i dropped to my knees and said “doan’ hurt me dont’t! I hain’t ever done no harm to a ghos’. I alwuz liked dead people, en done all i could for ‘em. You go en git in de river ag’in, whah you b’longs, en doan’ do nuffin to Ole Jim, ‘at ‘uz alwuz yo’ fren’.”
Then Huck explained to me what had happened to him and amde me understand he was alive and not a ghost. After expalining Huck says “It’s good daylight. Le’s get breakfast. Make up your campfire good.”
“What’s de use er makin up de camp-fire to cook strawbriesen sich truck? but you got a gun, hain’t you? Den we kin git sumfn better then strawbries.” I said.
“Strawberries and such truck,” he said. “is that what you live on?
“I could’nt get nuffin else,” “Why how long you been on the island Jim?” “I came heah de night after you’s killed.” “What, all that time” “Yes indeedy” “And you ain’t had nothing but that kind of rubbage to eat?” “ No sah nuffin else” “Well you must be starved ain’t you?” “I reck;n i could eat a hoss. I think I could. How long you ben on de islan’?” “Since the night I got killed.” “No W’y, what has you lived on? But you got a gun. Oh, yes. you got a gun. Dat’s good. Now you kill sumfn en I’ll make up de fire.”
So we went over to where the canoe was, and whuile I built the fire in a grassy open place amongst the trees, Huck went off and feched a meal and bacon and coffee, and a coffee-pot and frying pan and sugar and tin cups, and I was set back considerable because I reckoned it was all done with witchcraft. He caught a good big catfish and I cleaned him with my knife and fried him. When breakfast was ready weolled on the grass and eat it smoking hot. I laid it in all my might , because i was most starved. Then we had got pretty well stuffed, we laid off and lazied.
By and by I said: “ But looky here, Huck who wuz it dat ‘us killed in dat shanty ef it warnt you?” Then he explained to me th whole thing and I told him it was smart.
Huck grows more apologetic upon the next prank he pulls on Jim. While traveling on the river, Huck and Jim reach a point in their path where a dense fog rolls in, causing them to lose their way and get separated from each other. Huck takes advantage of the opportunity given by this natural event and decides to play another trick on Jim (94). However, Jim did not handle it too well since he is worried sick. This post fog scene is one of many turning points of Huck’s moral development. He knows that it was wrong of him to make a fool of Jim because it made him feel so mean that he could kiss Jim’s foot (95). Although Huck did not mean it in a literal sense, what he said is powerful because he would have to bend over and lie close to the ground
While Huck is traveling down the river with Jim, he must lie and often disguise himself to survive on his own to conceal his identity. Huck rebels because he does not want to follow his aunts house rules or live up to her expectations which are to conform to social norms. This means he has to dress cleanly and neatly, use manners, go to school, and be polite to everyone. Huck also is confused because he wants to get away from his abusive father who excessively drinks. Huck is afraid of his father who has beaten him and verbally abused him repeatedly therefore, his only solution is to run away. He does this by faking his own death. Curiousity overwhelms him and he wants to know how society has taken to the news of his death. In order to get some information Huck disguises himself as a girl. He meets with Judy Lawson, a local woman, and asks about the disappearance of Huck Finn. Although his disguise works well, Judy Loftus starts to test him to disguise whether Huck is really a girl. As soon as Judy says, "What's your real name? Is it Bill, or Tom, or Bob? -or what is it?"(Twain 70) Huck realizes he has no chance in pulling such pranks. When confronted with his lie Huck tells the truth and ends up making a friend who says he can count on her. Huck also tries to protect Jim from being captured by lying about himself and his situation.
... me no choice. That blacksmith is my friend, so I have to kill you. It does not matter that people will come looking for you because I will not be here,” Finishing his sentence with a gunshot.
Huck finds Jim while he is sleeping, and so he lays down on the raft and pretends that the separation never occured. When Jim awakes, Huck manages to convince him, for a time, that he dreamt the whole thing. Once Jim finds out he is being fooled, he becomes angry with Huck and isolates himself in the wigwam. Huck manages to apologize to him even though he is black.
“It’d be just perfect if he went absolutely off-his-rocker out here and tried to eat us or something. Or hung us from a sail pole—maybe used us as bait for ‘is next catch—”
On a foggy night on the river, Huck, who’s in the canoe, was separated from Jim, who’s on the raft. Neither of the two could navigate nor see through the thick fog. They began whooping at each other in order to find one another, but it was no use. Frustrated, Huck decides to fall asleep. When the fog lifted and Huck woke up and found Jim asleep on the raft. As a ruse, Huck pretends that they had never separated and that Jim had dreamed the whole incident. Jim began to narrate and interpret his “dream” when he sees the leaves and the wreckage on the raft, and realizes that it was not a dream. He was extremely hurt by Huck’s joke since he was scared to death that Huck had died. Huck felt guilty for playing the trick and sincerely apologized to Jim, which was hard because of race (at the
Huck fakes his own death and escapes society by going down the river in a canoe to Jackson’s island where he meets Jim and discovers that has run away from Miss Watson.
Early on in the journey, the reader can see the fondness that Huck has for mankind. "And begged me to save their ...

Subcontractors play very important role in the process of construction and often their work is underestimated. It is very common observation that owners hire professionals such as architects, engineers, construction managers, and general contractors. But, the actual work is performed primarily by subcontractors. The subcontractor performs the work according to the plans and specifications that are provided from the design professionals employed by the owner. For example, an electrical trade subcontractor is usually given a set of electrical plans and technical specifications designed by an electrical engineer and reviewed by the project architect. (Subcontracts and Subcontractors 2014).
