Having a closer look at the actual situation of most of the graduates, and according to the study conducted by the Lebanese Center for Policy Studies “24 % of the Lebanese Youth are skilled and jobless.” That makes you feel the urgent need of placement offices around the country as a part of the remedy. All universities are called to take the lead in creating their own offices in order to grant their graduates the best opportunities possible.
PURPOSE AND SCOPE
Since the number of enrolling students in NDU-NLC is annually increasing to reach this year (2013-2014), according to the registrar’s office, around 690 students. Therefore, it’s a necessity to establish the NLC’s own Placement Office that could fulfill the needs more effectively and to lessen the tension of work in the Main Campus’s Office.
1. How does the university community approach this subject?

Credit is given to the combination of its unique culture, high level of skill, and strong ambitious initiative; thus, creating an efficient flexible working system, allowing for quick adaptability and quick solutions to a changing market. Today, Israel’s minority communities are being more and more valued, with special government programs targeted at them, trying to further nurture the high levels of creativity and “technical talent” found within these particular groups. A place with highly educated workforces attracts companies, because it provides creativity and innovation to ignite companies’ potential. Israel contains one of the most highly educated workforces, having highest ratios in the world of university degrees and academic publication per capita, in the world, and many profitable innovations particularly in engineering come from Israel (Tepper 2013).

I selected this organization because I want to learn more about how this organization are beneficial to new graduates nurses to advance their leadership and professional skills. What stood out the most for me was how many nurses from all around the nation join to provide engagement opportunity with other nurses to develop professional and leadership skills.
If one needs a secure future, he/she has to attend college and attain a college degree to do so. College is doing a great job in educating the students about the particular subject, but is not doing so well to get them ready for their future jobs. To be able to sustain themselves in their field of work, students have to learn with more hands on activities, which will help them develop faster ways to be able to perform tasks, and make the least amount of mistakes. If the students do make mistakes, then they should learn from them rather than think negatively about making mistakes. Colleges should prepare students to deal intellectually with their future jobs by helping them providing with internships, and talking to them about importance of volunteering in our society, so students want to volunteer rather than forced to do so. Doing so will help improve our society’s condition because we will see more people helping each other rather than being selfish. Colleges should inform students about fraudulent cases that take place in the world on a daily basis, so the students could be better consumers. Colleges need to build programs for students which helps students with their critical thinking, and so that students could surround themselves with people who want to achieve similar goals in life. This will help students build a team, and help them be creators in life with their innovations. Doing so will
With the economic recession prevalent in the United States, the job market is malaise. Many young adults, including Cody Preston and Justin Randol, have become unemployed and been forced to take menial, inept, and low-paying jobs. The unemployment rate has skyrocketed in the past few years exceedingly affecting the young adult population. The personal issue of economic struggles seemingly correlates to the bigger problem. Personal troubles become societal problems and the economic recession is a huge topic of politics and societal matters. Alike the recession in the early 80’s, history has begun...

It is currently increasing in incidence at an alarming rate. Unemployment among young people is increasing predominantly as a result of youth receiving inadequate preparation for the job market and a largely ignored discrimination against youth in the job market. In order to minimize levels of youth unemployment, the education system and current workforce practices need to be analyzed and modified. The education system should be modified so that its degrees and more in line with jobs that are actually available and offer more job experience opportunities. The workforce practices should be modified so that discrimination against youth is minimized as much as possible. This can be achieved through invoking a higher rate of jobs awarded through meritocracy and reducing the amount of informal hiring. It is only after the integration of many of these concepts that youth unemployment levels will decrease. This will be a step towards a world with less inequality and unemployment, a step towards a better
The condition of the economy is highly associated with the buying poison of customers , in the economic , factors such as international trade , saving , entrepreneurship , interest rate , taxes , availability of jobs , inflation and subsidies are considered . As the average income of the individuals in Bahrain is few and the economic level of Bahrain is not very high , So Arab Open University is a non-profit university , its development project and it made it easier for individuals with limited income owner registration at the university due to the low process of materials compared to other private university . The lack of profitable education taught in Middle Eastern schools leads to unpreparedness for the workplace and mass unemployment. The learning crisis extends to the workplace and affects people’s ability to perform simple life skills such as communication and critical thinking. Since these basic skills are not being learned and taught in schools, forty percent of employers in the Middle East say skill-shortage is a “top constraint to business operation and company growth” (Jalbout). As the job market picks up, the education in the Middle East is declining and problems arise. Studies show that only about one-third of new Middle Eastern graduates are ready for the workplace. There is a “chronic misalignment of the education system and employment markets,” which ultimately sets the children up for failure in the workplace (“Education Failures Fan the Flames in the Arab World”). In a knowledge-based economy, the amount of people who possess relevant skills are limited, which is detrimental to the workplace and to their economy. The education crisis is toxic to the Middle East’s economy and causes civilians to be out of work and ill-prepared for the
Analysis of the labor market in the economy reveals a reduction in vacancies while the number of job seekers significantly increases over the past few decades (Dickerson, 2008, p.1). Particularly, the youth employment looks worrying with a serious downward trend with so many of them unemployed. The numbers of free people who are full educated or trained have also decreased. The unemployed in the economy are either inactive or unemployed. The annual changes continue to show a rise in unemployment of young people both for student and others. With lack of government employment as well as training programs, many individuals opt to seek for self-employment (Dickerson, 2008, p.1). Statistic continues to show that there has been an increase of workless people in comparison to the vacancies available. The general picture, therefore, remains that labor market constantly fails to meet the needs of people regarding employment. Although this is the case, there has been some variation across regions with Scotland and Wales in the UK showing decreased performance. There remains a risk that employment will increase in the coming years. The present concern is long-term unemployment, specifically with regards to the youths who are most disadvantaged in the labor market (Dickerson, 2008, p.1).
Before starting the analysis of a scenario suggesting the raising of the minimum wage in Lebanon, I would like to give an overview about the stages the Lebanese economy has gone through in the last few decades.
The case study given, describes the way an organization, in this case a university, is built and how does it function. The case study is about Bellevue University, that has around 685 employees, around 150 contract professors or guest lecturers with the numbers changing each semester and 8100 students associated with the university, who attend in class and online, as of 2011. The number of alumni has also been noted to be in the thousands. The university usually follows

Countries have evolved and transformed in their own pace and ways over time, even more so now with the advance in technology. However powerful, rich or poor a country is, weather they be developed or developing there are certain similar predicaments that persists. One such predicament for the government and the people is unemployment. Papua New Guinea has its own fair share of this problem. Jobs are scarce in Papua New Guinea Kuimbakul (2011) elucidate that of the 50,000 school leavers each year there are only 10,000 new jobs, which means around 40,000 educated young people cannot find paid jobs which then results in other social problems. If you graduate and do not get a job or if you are currently job less, is that it for you? Will you just keep seeking for employment and hope for some vacancies to appear? In this essay I will argue for the idea of ‘self-employment’ in the context of Papua New Guinea.
