How To Make A Webpage
For my science project I chose to create a web (internet) page, dealing with science. This project consists of using a computer and a html editor to create a page that can be found on the internet. The next paragraph will explain how to make an internet page.
The steps to making a web page to post on the internet, is very easy.
Most web pages are made in a code called html, which is what I am using to make my science web page. Html is an acronym for: Hyper Text Markup Language. The html codes are very easy to use, and remember. If you want to spice up your web page, you may want to use another code called, Java. The word Java is not an acronym, it comes from its maker, ‘Sun Technologies', which is a tremendously huge company that deals with web page making and the internet. Java enables you to have those neat scrolling words at the bottom of your web browser, and the other neat moving things that you may find in web pages around the net. Another code to spice up your web page would be cgi. Cgi stands for: Common Gateway
Interface, it is used to submit information on the internet. You can get a book at your local library that contains how to use html, java, and cgi. You now need to select one of the many programs that allow you to make a web page, using html, java, and cgi. Once you find this program, you may now start to enter your html, java, and cgi coordinates. After long hours of work you may now test your web page, depending on the program you are using, there is usually a button that you may press that enables you to look at the web page you have made. After revising and checking your web page, it is time to place it on the internet. To do this, you may have to contact your internet provider, and ask them if they allow their customers to place internet documents on their world wide web server. Once you have it on the net, tell all your friends about it so you can get traffic on your page, and maybe one day, you will win an award for it, and all that work
Each page will need a heading to explain what is on the page .I must
For many years now, students have been wondering what a Growth Mindset is and how it affects them. A growth mindset is when a student believes that he has capability of improving his skills and abilities. Also, its when a student’s believes that they can learn more than what they were born with, they believe they can improve their skills as much as they want too to be successful. A growth mindset impacts a student’s success by making them reach their goals, and keep the students improving their intelligence and are positive learners.
The Wireless Markup Language (WML) is used to create pages that can be delivered using WAP. WML is a language that allows the text portions of Web pages to be presented on cellular telephones and personal digital assistants (PDAs) via wireless access. WML is part of the Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) that is being proposed by several vendors to standards bodies. The Wireless Application Protocol works on top of standard data link protocols, such as Global System for Mobile communication, code-division multiple access, and Time Division Multiple Access, and provides a complete set of network communication programs comparable to and supportive of the Internet set of
Although this language is used in schools, neurological research (OECD, 2007) shows that as we learn, the brain continually adapts, indicating that belief in a growth mindset is scientifically accurate, and therefore a fixed mindset is a myth.
A mindset is a belief about oneself and one’s basic qualities. In her article, “Brainology: Transforming Students’ Motivation to Learn” (2008), psychologist Carol Dweck claims there are two different types of mindsets,
Dweck is accurate when she mentions the importance of developing a growth mindset by stating students do better in school, it encourages children to take on challenges, and that one can become smarter. A growth mindset is when a person believes they can reach their potential ability by working hard and failure is a way for them to grow. Also, a growth mindset drives motivation and achievement for children and students. Therefore, if you don’t possess a growth mindset then you have a fixed mindset, which means you are afraid of new challenges and you will not be successful in life.
For this first task I am required to create a web site for the Lancre

Web design has a very young history is similar to other areas such as graphic design and computer science. Although web design is also seen as both. It has made a huge impact in people’s everyday lives. It is very difficult to see a Internet without pictures, different types of themes, and music. Since 2000 and later the web has become much more integrated into people's daily lives, There have also been significant changes in the way people view and access websites, this has changed how sites are programmed and designed.
There were skeptics that said the language was a dud and would never catch on, but now more people are learning Java Script then ever before.JavaScript is used within HTML tags so that the page setup in already present when the Java Script starts to run. There are many different uses for Java Script on the Net. It can be used to make mail forms that a customer or person trying to input information can use. The program will allow the user to input information, then it will automatically send that info to a designated email address with the click of a button. It can also be used to put a password on a certain web page; a user trying to enter the page must then input the correct commands and passwords to enter the page.
PHP is a scripting language that executes scripts on a server, which allows it to create dynamic web pages. To create a dynamic web page, PHP interprets the code on the web server with a Hypertext Preprocessor Module. As an open source language, PHP is functional across multiple platforms. According to Free Servers, it can be run on Linux, Mac OS, Microsoft Windows and many variations of the Unix system. (Free Servers. “What is PHP”). A Hypertext Preprocessor Module is the PHP’s CGI. A Common Gateway Interface is the standard method that Web Servers utilise when passing a Web User Request to an application program and returning data. As it was developed for the web, it has the capability to be embedded into HTML code.
When migrating to another country becomes more and more popular and common, living and communicating with someone who has a different culture background naturally becomes more important. Australia, one of the most successful country in multicultural society, has many factors which made the country successful in maintaining a harmonic society. Three of these factors are policy, education, and the high level of acceptance between culture differences (Bastian, 2012, p. 67; Ozdowski, 2012; Bouma, 2015).
We had to score 100% in order to pass the test. Everybody passed after taking the test at least twice. the minute I got on that plane I started shaking from fear ,then the plane starts rising slowly till suddenly I felt air hitting me in the face I looked and the doors started sliding slowly and a green lights goes on , everybody on the plane started jogging towards the door and they took me with them , I jumped ,I jumped from a plane 15000 ft high in the sky , the feeling was amazing the wind blowing every muscle in my face , and the power of the wind pressure holding me I the sky swimming in between the clouds and most exciting is seeing birds flying pass me ,the minute we started slowing down while landing , Althpugh it was fun ,exciting and heart beating but I will never think of doing it again in any place else besides Dubai, the stunning view of the palm island and the water passing between the island leafs was so gorgeous that it is carved in my memory till this day and I am imagining it in front of my eyes the while I am typing this memoir essay.
The expected future of web design is agnostic in terms of pixels, device, resolution and technology. The term agnostic design refers to the idea that whatever design is made it fits all the devices and technologies that use it. In other words we can use this new hot term as “one size fits all”. The variation in pixels, resolution or devices won’t matter at all because the agnostic design is universal. The device takes the second place and content is brought into first place. The agnostic approach makes the user forget about device while keeping in mind the smallest screen.
In 1989, Tim Berners-Lee invented the WWW, which was about 20 years after the first connection was established over what today is called the Internet. Back in 1989, Berners-Lee was a software engineer at CERN, the largest particle physics laboratory near Geneva, Switzerland (WWW Foundation 1). Berners-Lee had proposed a set of technologies that could make the Internet available and useful to many people. However, at first, Berners-Lee’s proposal was not accepted, but he would not go down without a fight. He persevered and by October of 1990, he had laid out the three essential technologies that are still the foundation of today’s Web: 1. HTML: Hypertext Markup Language. It is the publishing format for the Web. It has the ability to format documents and link to other documents and resources. 2. URI: Uniform Resource Identifier. It is an address that is special to each resource on the Web. 3. HTTP: Hypertext Transfer Protocol. It allows for the retrieval of linked resources across the Web (1). After...
