School lunches are a huge problem at school, lunches should be healthier, fresher and students should be able to enjoy them. The school should take action and get more money so they can have a kitchen where the food should be hand made and be able to use fresh products from a local farms.
Getting more money to purchase products like fruits and vegetables and other foods is essential to making the lunch healthier, fresher and more enjoyable for the students.
The school is responsible for failing to give the students fresh food. They should take action and be more involved in what they are giving the students and what kind of lifestyle they are giving the students. Schools need to see that the school lunch given is not healthy enough and they need to fight to get more money. They need to start making fresh food and not processed chicken nuggets. In "How to Improve Your School's Lunch Program.", Michelle Stern a mother of two children saw what the school offered her children and she took action and she changed the school lunches for her kids in her school district (Par 1). Kids want better food. Schools need to find more money so the students can have a healthier lunch and they won’t eat the unhealthy processed food that is full of fat.

The kitchen will be expensive but in the long run it will save the school lots of money. The school will need to hire allot cooks and allot more time to make the food but it will benefit the school and the students. A better kitchen will enable the cook to make healthy food. By making food with fresh ingredients, we will eliminate processed food that is unhealthy. The food can be cooked easily, and they can get fresh ingredients.
