How My Father Has Changed My Life

My parents immigrated to the United States, so my siblings and I would have a better future. My father, Antonio Jimenez is 46 years weighing about 180 pounds. My dad has a dark brown colored skin with a small mustache. A height of five feet six inches. My dad’s hair color has changed to gray. My dad has a silver tooth and when he smiles you can’t stop staring at it. My dad has a mole on his left side of his chin. The only thing my dad wears is loose jeans, a polo shirt, sneakers, and a hat.
Throughout my life there have been different lessons my Dad has taught me. They have all been helpful but the one that has stuck with me the most was eleven years ago. I went with my father to a butcher shop.

That day I was mad at my dad for grounding me for a month. Now looking back, I can thank him for teaching me this lesson. To always do the correct thing. This lesson when I was seven has changed my life drastically. Now I 'm in college pursuing an architecture degree. If I were to continue stealing I know I would have already spent days in jail.
My dad never gives up on anything. My dad has overcome many obstacles. When my dad immigrated to the United States he didn’t know any English. This obstacle wasn’t going to stop my father from having a better life in the United States. My dad learned English after two years of taking classes. Now my dad works for a company that make healthy bars translating for the workings that don 't know English.
My dad is my role model. My dad doesn 't judge people because of how they look or are. He always has a way to understand people.

He looks at me and even without saying anything but by how he looks at me, I start smiling. I can’t help it. My dad is a funny person to be around. He always has those funny jokes, that when I 'm passing through a tough times he makes them better.
I admire my dad’s work ethic. My dad is a reliable person at his job. His boss always counts on him to finish what needs to be done during the day. My dad shows his integrity there as well by having good moral principles. When his boss isn 't there on the job, my dad keeps working hard as if his boss was still there. While his co-workers slow down because the boss isn’t their.
My dad is a great father to my siblings and I. He does his responsibilities as a father by bringing money to the family. My dad isn’t always just a father, but a friend that I can talk to when I seek advice. Whether it is about school or about my relationships he is always listens and gives me great advice.
