Beowulf and Achilles
A spark-plug, Beowulf does what he wants to do; in order to complete the task, Beowulf has to sacrifice a few men. Courage, loyalty, wisdom, boasting and physical strength are some of the outstanding characteristics Beowulf has. Now on the other hand, Achilles does not like to sacrifice men for the greater cause; however, he is extremely selfish unlike Beowulf. In the story The Iliad, Achilles demonstrates to the readers that he is a brave, loyal, and confident man.
