In particular is that Ridley states that “ Women in Islam are considered equal to men in spiritual, education worth and a woman’s gift for childbirth and child-rearing is regarded as a positive attribute (447).” This is wrong because this is not true for all Islamic countries and American Muslims too. Similarly when Ridley also talks about what has a cabbie said “ Don’t leave a bomb in the back and asked, Where’s bin Laden hiding? (447)” This is very stereotypical and not all cabbie are like this, but she is judging that all cab drivers are like this. In religion, there are different grades of people and how extreme their beliefs are. Another example is how Ridley classified that all western male are obsessed with Muslim woman’s attire. There are plenty of guys around 18 years old to 25 years who old dose not care about women's clothes in any religion. One more example is that Ridley states that “Muslim feminists are more radical than their secular counterparts (447).” It is not right because she does not show proof of her statement. This really hurts
