Although computers can be expensive they are much more advanced than a textbook. Having the internet available for students to use will make their education mature. Lastly, computers will not just help the student, they can make a teacher’s job easier. Schools should provide a computer for each student because they are such an important tool to learning.
Computers not only change the way the classroom is taught in education. Computers also can increase motivation and self esteem. The most common and nearly worldwide reported effect on students was motivation. The kids that don't necessarily star can become the stars.
Better Technology Means Better Education In recent years computers have opened many new opportunities for students and teachers. Technology has advanced past books and black boards. There are more and more computers going into schools everyday. With the world changing into a computer world teaching how do to use technology is necessary. With the new tools that teachers use learning for students is not only more interesting but, more fun.
Computers also enable students to learn at a faster or slower pace. This is beneficial in the aspect that it will keep quick learners from getting bored, as well as giving those that need a little extra time that same benefit. In every aspect of our lives, we are faced with computers. They are in our classrooms, cars, and even used to perform menial tasks. With computers in school, students will be given the advantage of learning their way around computers that they will be using for the rest of their lives.
Instructors should allow laptops in class to make studying easier for the students. This can enable both the teacher and the students to accomplish a meaningful, memorable lesson. As we can see the benefits far outweigh the negatives because most of the research agrees that student should use laptop in the classroom. It provide them clear note, and quick access to the information that relate to the class subject. Also students with laptops in the classroom are able to score higher than students without laptops in test.
It could be a quicker and more efficient way to do things for both the students and the teachers. The classroom wouldn't have to be replaced by technology it would only be improved by it. Replacing objects such as books, paper, pencil, and regular boards with technology has several benefits. no longer having to use pencils in classrooms can save cost, make the class move faster because of typing, make it easier for teachers to grade papers, and it has a positive effects on the ecosystem by reducing the use of trees. Computers have and are still used productively in the classrooms to improve teaching and learning. Oddly enough, Oppenheimer included studies that he disagreed with on the five arguments that campaign the computerization of the nation's schools: Computers improve both teaching practices and student achievement. With the proper use of computers teachers and students can use computers to help them with the curriculum.
This decision would eliminate students from getting easily distracted. An additional choice is for teachers to closely monitor the students. Rebuttal: computers would not interfere with the task at hand, but teach students to be open-minded and independent. The decision to allow computer access in the classroom would dramatically improve education. Computers would propel learning with accurate information and thorough explanations.
How Technology Impacts Education With the development of science and technology, education also continues to improve. Based on different aspects of influence, education is becoming more flexible. Education has been affected by many factors, such as class attendance, weather, finance, information search, classroom feedback and so on. In the past, people did not always have easy access to education, because it has too many limitations. But because of advances in technology, people can now ignore the distance factors, and can use the Internet and other methods to learn.
I also feel that computers help students with learning disabilities complete work at their own pace, which in turn makes them feel more a part of the crowd, instead of someone who is holding the rest of the crowd back. It helps them keep up a little easier with the classroom curriculum. ... ... middle of paper ... ... in the education genre. Although there are negative drawbacks, in my opinion, the positive aspects definitely outweigh the negatives. As long as future educators are properly trained, and students use computer technology more for learning purposes than for leisure, the computer-aided education world will have a positive outlook.
