The two stories show the reality in how young people become rebellious but could change their attitude towards their loved ones if they want so. In The Role of The Bone, Boon is falling apart and even worse when he feels nothing at all. In “How Far She Went” by Mary Hood, we see the struggle between the young girl and her grandmother. The girl is searching for herself and developed as the story progressed. The two characters never get along.
