The power of love has had negative effects on many people who are in or even out of love. Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare is about two lovers that go through many problems due to their love life. Romeo and Juliet face many challenges trying to solve away to let their love be free without their families trying to rip each other apart. They face the same side the effects the author Helen Fisher speaks about in her article All for Love. These effects can defend why love is Bad. Love can be very effective on people. Some might go to the extreme to show their love for one another. These acts can have a very negative outcome.

Looking past someone's true self is very risky and can put someone in danger”Indeed they concentrate so relentlessly on the positive qualities of the adored ones that they easily overlook his or her negative traits, they even dote on specific events and objects they shared with their sweet heart”(Fisher). Partners in these relationships could miss major parts of information about their other partner due to that they only see their positive traits. As a result of Juliet seeing pass Romeo being a montague, She risked her and Romeo being banished or even being killed due to the rivalry between the Capulets and Montagues.
