“It's better to die on your feet than live on your knees.” this quote by Emiliano Zapata pretty much sums up how the men fought during the revolution, hard, continuously and didn't give up until then end. The men were always fighting and doing whatever in their power in order to be at the top.

This long 10 year revolution lasting from 1910 to 1920 was a social and political trouble. It started with trying to get president Diaz out of office. A new constitution was issued in 1917 bust the violence did not come to a complete stop until 1920 when Álvaro Obregón took over presidency and the war finally came to a complete stop.

In Mexico the poor suffered tremendously, while under the leadership of their mean and horrible leader Diaz. President Diaz forced away the poor people of mexico into a debt trade system. Besides all the bad during the revolution it induced new genres and varieties of art.
