These machines do exactly the same thing as what the worker would do but in only half the time. These evolutions of technology are not just with machinery; it has also evolved in other areas such as electrical, chemical, and other physical forces. These tools of machinery that society uses has only happened because of the growth of scientific principles. People learn a lot about these tools and try to find ways to improve them. The study and understanding of these tools increases control by humans over labor processes by means of machines and machine systems.

I have seen scientific method personally many times in my science classes and each time it was represented as a simple series of steps; ask a question, formulate a hypothesis, perform an experiment, collect data, then make a conclusion. This may be as simple as it needs to be in high school science classes but in all reality, the scientific method is a lot more complicated than this. Scientists will partake in many different activities in many different orders instead of following simple step by step recipes every time. Science is not done by just one individual doing on single experiment, different parts of the process may be done by different people at different times. Science also requires creativity and thinking outside of the box because even if you think you have reached a conclusion, it can always be revised or contradicted.
