Merlo indicates that one of the problems in using cell phones, which is, can cause addiction to the person who use it. The young adults are curious about people’s life in social media, so they feel that they have to be connected to social media as cited in Birdwell (2007[CW2] ). I agree with author because nowadays it is[CW3] has become a habit and it is obvious in people, even me. Most of adolescents now have to check their phone constantly if there are any new updates popping out in their social media apps. Therefore, it is similar to smoking cigarettes that people usually cannot stop smoking it. For example, when I go to a coffee shop with my friends, we are supposed to make small conversations. Nowadays young adults are trying to be more connected with their social life, such as in college, and high school. Cell phone now[CW4] considered as the best way to socialize with people. Even though, young adults understood that in a wrong way. Because now technology has increased through the world and made it simple for those teenagers to communicate with their friends. So many of them considered[CW5] [CW6] it as the only way to socialize and communicate with their social life, due to they are following the method of this new generation of texting and tweeting. Prefer[CW7] redness is one of the problems that affect those young people, because they start to prefer texting instead of talking in front[CW8] of them or calling them. That led[CW9] them to avoid talking face to face with people even their own friends. Therefore, some young adult’s think, if they go to talk to their friends face to face, or to make new friends face to face might annoy them[CW10] . Because they think, it is not appropriate to do that in this generation of cell phones[CW11] . Bindley said, “What happens to the development of those skills if you 've had a phone to stare at every time you didn 't want to make eye contact while waiting in line?” (2007).
