The purpose for this paper was to discuss homosexuality in the Nigerian perspective which I have outline the nature of homosexuality as deviant behavior, why it is being considered deviant, the cause of this behavior using examples, also the consequences of this behavior, the attempts used to address including the success and failures, how widespread homosexuality has become in the Nigerian society and a preferable approach to the issue of homosexuality being seen as deviant.
