The Rwanda Genocide was the mass slaughter of ethnic Tutsis by ethnic Hutus located in Rwanda, Africa.
The Rwanda Genocide took place in 1994 in the East African state of Rwanda. Over the course of approximately 100 days , from April to mid July, approximately 800 000 Tutsis were murdered.
Rwanda is one of the smallest countries in Central Africa. It has a population of 7 million, comprised of 2 main ethnic groups; Hutus and the Tutsis.
UN came in to try and keep peace and if they (Hutus) shoot at them they were to shoot back.
