History, Geography and Demographics
The Republic of Singapore is a sovereign republic country that lies at the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula, between Malaysia and Indonesia. Singapore’s history can dates back to AD 1298-1299, which known as Temasek ("Sea Town"). The modern Singapore was founded during the 19th century. On August 9th, 1965, Singapore left Malaysia Federation and gained independence as the Republic of Singapore.
Singapore has 697 km2 area in total, including 687 km2 of land and 10 km2 of water. The country consists of 63 islands, and the largest offshore island is Pulau Tekong (2,442.6 ha). The public green areas of Singapore exceed 9,500 ha, which covered about 13.6% of the total land area of Singapore. The climate in Singapore is hot and humid, and due to the fact that Singapore is almost close to the equator, it has no distinctive seasons. Temperature is steady across the year, with average high temperature of 87.8 °F and average low temperature of 75.4 °F. The hottest weather occurs in April, and its average humidity level is 84.1%. Singapore is a relatively small country, and the natural resources are limited. The remarkable natural resources include fish and deep-water ports.
As of 2012, the total population of Singapore is 5,312.4 thousand, including 3,818.2 thousand Singapore citizens and permanent residents. The ethnic composition includes 74.2% of Chinese, 13.3% of Malays, 9.2% of Indians, and 3.3% of others. Singapore has four official languages: English, Malay, Mandarin, and Tamil. English is widely used in business, government, and schools.

Customers can make the reservation through website, phone, or mobile apps. Because Singapore is a relatively small country, the company can serve their customers in a fast and inexpensive way.
