Many people in the world have a strong belief in their religion and base many life decisions off of it. These same people have a way of shutting out any historical possibilities that could otherwise differentiate with their beliefs. There are many different religions and spiritual practices throughout the entire world and history. Judaism and Hinduism are atop the list of the most practiced throughout the Worlds history, as well as the two original religious traditions. Hinduism conceives the whole world as a single family that deifies the one truth, and therefore it accepts all forms of beliefs and dismisses labels of distinct religions which would imply a division of identity. It prescribes the "eternal" duties all Hindus have to follow, regardless of class or caste such as honesty, purity, and self-restraint. Hindus see themselves as not so much practicing a religion but going about a way of life. Hindu sages claim that the individual 's self-understanding determines his or her perception of the world. Hinduism is seen as such a practice that was not founded by a single being. It came about in the Common Era of world history, and was atop the aforementioned faiths along with buddhism. Hindu practices involve seeking awareness of God and sometimes also seeking blessings from Devas. As a way of expressing their religion the sing songs they call Bhajan or a devotional song. A large part of Hinduism is performing rituals. These rituals are done on a daily basis and are seen as very important to Hindus. The people who suds Buddhism see it as such a concept. But on the other hand there is a way that it was seen as in the past. Siddhartha or Buddha observed the suffering in the world and set out to find a solution. Through meditation and analysis, he attained an enlightened state of being that marked the end of suffering, as well as a release from the cycle of rebirth. His teachings are summarized in The Four Noble Truths which are based of his own sermon following his enlightenment. Although this was the way the religion began, it has been modified quite a bit over its over 2500 year history. Due to these changes many people have different views on Buddhism. There are three main branches of Buddhism and there are many different beliefs and practices that branch off of them. So although there is no particularly correct way to practice Buddhism it is much different today than it was when it originated over 2500 years
