There are many religions that are practiced around the world, especially in Asia where there are eight different religions being practiced. In the country of India, Buddhism and Hinduism are the main religions that are practiced today. Buddhism and Hinduism were both founded in Asia, but they were founded by two different people and practiced in two different ways and languages. Buddhism is a living tradition that is passed down from teacher to student as a set of instruction and techniques for sanity and brilliance in the inner self and the world. Hinduism is more based on the thoughts and attitude about one’s everyday life, and reflects in his actions.

Unlike most religions, Hinduism has no specific founder, scripture or set of teachings. Hinduism has over nine hundred million followers today. The history of Hinduism is that it was found in the Indus Valley and it is an oral religion. Hindu’s believe in the three gods named Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. Brahma is believed to be the creator of the world and creatures. Brahma has four heads and its head come from the four Vedas, which is the ancient text of Hindu’s. Researchers say that the caste system came from different parts of Brahma’s body. Brahma’s companion is Saraswati, who is the goddess of knowledge. Today, Brahma is least worshiped. Vishnu is the preserver of the earth. He has a human body that is blue, and has four arms. Shiva is the destroyer of the world. Hindu’s believe that Shiva is a good and bad source. They believe that even though Shiva destroys what has been created, good effects come out if. Shiva looks like a blue normal man.
