Traffic control was provided to ensure that inconvenience to the citizens was minimized. By 7 a.m., the crews were off and running. The paving contractor uses heavy equipment to spread a new layer of asphalt over your lot. This fills in cracks and holes as it goes on. It's like adding a new lot over the old one. The new layer adds thickness to the surface so it is more stable and durable. The new layer of asphalt bonds with the old layer as it dries and cures. It is an effective way of repairing damage and improving the appearance of the lot since it looks like new when the job is done.
Travelling across the country in an old Ford Model T would never be easy; but, traveling in a Model T on a bumpy dirt road with ruts and holes, almost unbearable. Thankfully, many advances in America’s roadway systems came about in the 1900s. Traveling from one city to another became not only quicker and easier, but also safer, thanks to the many innovations that roadways experienced over the last century. Many engineers put in a lot of time and effort to make these innovations and need to be accredited for their scientific achievements. However, getting to the roadway system that we take for granted today did not happen overnight. It took new technology and some brilliant minds to bring the pieces together to form the luxury of nice, smooth

I spend most of my time diagnosing problems or complaints people have about their cars. Then come the actual repairs. Maintenance is rare nowadays. After figuring out what’s wrong, get price quotes and then suggests the repair to the customer. Confirm whatever you did actually fix the car, bring it outside and start all over again with the next car in line. You show up every day not knowing what’s ahead of you. You have no idea if you are going to make any money, if it’s going to be an easy, pain free day or stress-filled leaving you in some epic bad mood. You will eventually learn what cars you do not want to work on, what jobs are more of a hassle than others.
The trucking industry pays drivers per the mile that they drive. Some companies pay their driver for all miles travel whether they are loaded or not. Some companies only pay for loaded miles. Two examples of this are Boyd & Sons Inc. in Washington Indiana with 37 cents per mile and Western Distributing Transport in Henderson Colorado at 35 cents per mile with a single drive in the truck. (Inc, 2011) (Corporation, n.d.) The more miles that a driver drives the more they get paid. The two limiting factors of them driving more are the speed limits of the roads that they are traveling on and the Hours of Service Regulations. Some companies such as Prime Inc. limit the speed of their trucks with electronic speed governors through the ECM. Currently
