The True Heroes Ricky Martin said, ”Heroes represent the best of ourselves, respecting that we are human beings. A hero can be anyone from Gandhi to your classroom teacher, anyone who can show courage when faced with a problem. A hero is someone who is willing to help others in his or her best capacity.¨ A hero or a heroic behavior can be unnoticed or be broadcasted on the news for a month. If they did not put another person's needs before theirs then they shouldn't be considered a hero. Because heroes help others, they are determined, selfless, and courageous.
Heroes are determined so they can accomplish what they want to do to benefit others. For example, Chelsea Elliott allows the less fortunate to get the screenings and help that they need so they don’t have to go to an expensive doctor and pay for the tests. According to CNN heroes, “screened nearly 9,000 children in Texas and Hawaii since its 2013 launch.¨ She is dedicated to helping less fortunate children getting screened for hearing and sight problems so they do not have to suffer like she did as a kid. A teacher can teach hundreds of the world's future heroes. In the quote from Ricky Martin, he explains that heroes are anywhere. Also that a true hero is somebody that will do anything to help people that he or she may not even know but is willing to help them even in the heat of the moment. Heroes have to be brave to fight and help people even if they will lose something personal out of their actions. they have to be able to conquer their problem even if they don't get fixed the first try.
