William Henry Gates was born on October 28, 1955. Son of William Henry Gates, a renowned lawyer, and Mary Gates, a professor at the University of Washington and director of First Interstate Bank. His childhood took place in the city of Seattle in Washington, where he attended sixth grade at a public school.

When Steve Jobs was growing up he Didn’t have any friends so he wandered to neighbors garages looking to learn more about electronics because a lot of them were engineers. But later in 1976, when Apple was about to bankrupt he returned to it as advisor and Interim CEO. He made Apple profitable from near bankruptcy by 1998 (Walter Isaacson, 2013). From (1996-2011), he proved himself as one of the best engineering leaders of the world and made Apple the most innovative company of the world.
In modern society, it is hard to come across an individual that is truly a Renaissance man. Not many people are able to encompass all of the traits that come together to make this well rounded person. Bill Gates, on the other hand, possesses the traits that are present in a Renaissance man. He is honorable, smart, confident, proficient, intelligent, humble, knowledgeable, kind, generous, socially inclined, affable, respectful, athletic, and a writer. All of these traits make him the jack of all trades that a Renaissance man is supposed to be.

CCC officials were so impressed with the boys that they gave them jobs”(Mcguire 1). William Henry Gates III got his name from his father William Henry Gates Sr., Gates Sr. fell in love with Mary Maxwell at the University of Washington. Gates grew up in a very loving family; he as well as his sisters were pushed to do well in school. The most important person he had growing up, was his Mom.

These needs can be provided for quickly, but become obsolete even quicker. In 1981, the first "true portable computer", the Osborne 1 was introduced by the Osborne Computer Corporation. (2) This computer revolutionized the way that computers were used and introduced a brand new working opportunity.
It was at Lakeside that he was first introduced to computers. In the spring of 1968 the Lakeside Prep School concluded that it should acquaint the student body with the world of computers. They were still too large and costly for the school to purchase it's own, so instead they had a fund raiser and bought computer time on a DEC PDP-10 owned by General Electric. A few thousand dollars were raised which the school figured would buy more than enough time to last into the next school year. But they had drastically underestimated the amount of students that would be addicted to this machine.
The purpose of writing this essay is to give an idea how these two respected CEOs of multinational companies has changed the world. Technology is booming nowadays, even the minor things that we can do manually are done using technology. Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple computer and Bill Gates, the co-founder of Microsoft, has changed the world. These two leaders are best known for their innovations which has taken our world to the next level. Steve and Bill has got something in common. Surprisingly, both of these CEO had never graduated from college, but they are known to be the world most successful leaders and they both work in the same kind of company (Lashinsky, 2013). Nevertheless, their leadership styles differs (Peralta,2011). The way they treat the employees at the workplace is in contrast.
A leader is someone that you can look up to, someone who has a conglomerate of attributes that motivate people to follow them. There are many reasons why you can find someone amusing, intriguing or interesting but the conglomerate of actions performed by them is what makes them stand over others. A global leader is someone who has transcends the geographical limits with their contributions not only to their field but to humanity as well. In this essay I will briefly discussed the attributes of the global leader I selected, his visions and his contributions to mankind.
The computer evolution has been an amazing one. There have been astonishing achievements in the computer industry, which dates back almost 2000 years. The earliest existence of the computer dates back to the first century, but the electronic computer has only been around for over a half-century. Throughout the last 40 years computers have changed drastically. They have greatly impacted the American lifestyle. A computer can be found in nearly every business and one out of every two households (Hall, 156). Our Society relies critically on computers for almost all of their daily operations and processes. Only once in a lifetime will a new invention like the computer come about.

Bill Gates and Melinda Gates decided to make a health foundation they would be giving money to poor countries and colleges. Since Bill Gates was very wealthy he gave Harvard’s health department a five-year, $20 million grant to study vitamins and mineral pills.
