The delivery system of healthcare is so complex and large that it has become almost impossible for any specific individual or any particular organization to understand complete details of its operations and activities. Objectives
The healthcare industry has acknowledged a propagation of innovations which aim at increasing life expectancy, worth of life, diagnostic and treatment choices, as well as the competence and cost efficacy of the healthcare system. Information technology has played a vital role in the innovation of healthcare systems.
• To identify supply chain practices prevailing in the Hospitals and the HealthCare Industry and to simultaneously ascertain the digital assets and IT solution that are used in the industry.
• Study and map the drivers and barriers in implementation of Information Technology solutions to the needs of logistics and supply chain management function in the Health care sector.
• To understand the benefits of Digital Assets in the supply chain of the industry and make recommendations based on the best practices being followed around the globe.
