The World Health Organisation defines health as "a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity." The main aspects of health are mental health and physical health. These can also be split up into what are the seven aspects of health: mental, emotional, intellectual, social, spiritual, cultural and physical health. All of these aspects intertwine - if one is out of balance, then others will be affected. So can a person achieve total balance and therefore total health? Mental health regards a person's psychological and emotional well-being. There are lots of factors that can contribute to having good mental health. These can include: " Having good physical health " Reducing stress levels " Maintaining positive relationships Some major factors included in looking after our mental health are social and emotional health. By surrounding yourself with people who boost your self-esteem, confidence and positivity, you can greatly increase your mental and emotional health. However, having bad emotional health can be severely detrimental to your mental health because it will be hard to approach things with a positive outlook. Social health refers to our relationships and the way we interact with others. Having good social health means that we are able to communicate and interact with others in a socially acceptable way, and are also able to foster and develop healthy relationships. Key factors to maintaining good social health could include: " Surrounding yourself with people who make you happy " Being able to communicate effectively with others " Taking time out of social situations sometimes in order to have personal
