Health Care Systems in Finland, Afghanistan, and Norway

Health care system world widely is a very important issue. According to WHO is that a good health system delivers quality services to all people, when and where they need them. The exact configuration of services fluctuates from country to country, but in all cases requires a stable financing mechanism such are a well-trained and adequately paid workforce; reliable information on which to base decisions and policies; well maintained facilities and logistics to deliver quality medicines and health (WHO a) That says it all in my opinion. Good attentions to provide health care world widely. The concept of health is very complex. We all understand the meaning of it in different ways. Health care system in Finland is a foregone conclusion in many aspects. In this task it is suppose to introduce health care systems in three countries. One developed, one undeveloped and our country. I chose to introduce beside Finland, also Afghanistan and Norway. The reason I chose Afghanistan is my current workplace. I work as a military nurse in Finnish Defence Forces, and I have many colleges (soldiers) who are at this moment in Afghanistan to protect peace and helping reconstructing Afghanistan. It is going to be an interesting journey to try find out a little bit more of the health care system there. And why I chose Norway? During the many years of being a nurse I have heard many times how in Norway everything is better then here in Finland. So I looked up from the internet just seeking some information and it sounded quite interesting health care system that they have. It is going to be interesting to compare health care systems of Finland and of Norway. So, are there going to be similarities or are there just differences between countries 2. HE... ... middle of paper ... ... fast, I think that majority of Finnish people still rely on to public health care system. It is still affordable to all, and it is working pretty nicely Primary (and/or public) health care system should be available to all people a cross the world. It is one of the basic needs for everybody. It is quite sad, that it isn’t so especially in undeveloped countries. And there are many countries which includes in that category. During this task I was thinking health care system both globally and locally. Undeveloped countries are in position that needs our attention. I have to be grateful of what kind of health care system we have here in Finland. Even though sometimes we have to wait a bit to get medical assistance, and not always you get what you want from public health, think of those in great need who doesn’t get help at all because current situation on nation.
