Recommended: Negative impacts of obama care

Some Americans receive different health care benefits through employers or the government. When health care is taken away, everyone starts to panic. When Americans lose their health care, health issues are not being treated with the right care due to not having the income to pay for doctors’ visits. With a new presidential election underway, Americans want to see the health care benefits they were promised with from the beginning of Barack Obama’s presidency.
Barack promised that the Affordable Care Act (ACA) will be affordable and reliable for any type of income. Young adults can stay on their parents’ health insurance until they are 26. When they turn 26, they can apply for the ACA, which will provide them with affordable health benefits. In my experience applying for new health benefits, the ACA asked for my sex, age and if I was a smoker. The one benefit package for a non-smoker female started at 335 dollars; however, if I was a smoker, health …show more content…

Affordable and reliable is not explaining the meaning of health care benefits that were being offered; expensive and not promising is what Americans are being offered. Different health care benefits that were offered stated that if the benefits worked for a family, they were allowed to keep the benefits with no changes; however, when millions had lost their benefits, changes had to be made because there was no health care being provided. Patients had to leave their family physicians because they no longer had insurance and seeing a doctor without any insurance was expensive (HERITAGE). From my family’s past experience, their health care insurance was dropped. They had to leave physicians, and try to find the extra income to pay for past medical bills. I hate seeing my family without insurance. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is had, and without insurance it gets even harder. As I get older, I want health insurance I can rely on, cheaper plans, and reliable
