As this was the last email thread from Bee Lian, I have replied to this email to share with you what we have done to turnaround the situation. It took me sometime to reply as we wanted to ensure that we have taken necessary steps to address this issue. At the foremost, I would like to extend my sincere apologies that you have to face this situation. I have spoken to the team and have taken corrective action. Actions taken: 1. We have extended the application closing deadline to 21st Apr 2. We have reached out to health sector (through Yi An). We received a list of 25 Head of Medical Social Work who will help us to coordinate future enrolment numbers for this programme 3. • Healthcare: 11 Medical Social Workers • Social Service: 13 Social Workers spread across CYF, Disability and Eldercare • MSF: 1 • Others: 6 We are currently verifying the applications to ensure that they meet the two entry requirements. They are: • A Social Work Degree • Min 6 mths, max 2 yrs experience as a Social Worker • Fair distribution of healthcare and different sub sectors within social service We will be able to complete this process by 18 Apr. Even if the 6 applications who do not meet the above entry requirement, we are hopeful that we will be able to have sufficient numbers for the class to be conducted.
