When I think about people who are into health and fitness and people who are not, I notice the two groups differ greatly. These two groups have two totally different lifestyles.
People who are into health and fitness wake up to a bright sunny morning, every morning, and debate with themselves if they should go on a short or a long morning run. On the last half of their morning run these people one already thinking what healthy tasty breakfast they can satisfy the hunger built up on the fun. After they decide what to eat they plan there day with the most things they can pack in their schedule. To these people everyday is a good day.
There are also those types of people who could care less about fitness and health. These people wake up in the morning slamming their alarm clocks so hard its like dropping an anvil on a marble. And when they open their eyes no matter how nice the morning weather is, these people always see it as being real dark and gloomy, like the middle of the winter in the coldest of weather. Breakfast is a maybe to them, a maybe ill eat breakfast today or, a maybe ill have time for breakfast today knowing they are already late to begin with. The best invention for these people is an alarm clock with a snooze button.

Time pulls the person of not having something they want. Of not reaching their body goals, or not even go to the gym. Time, is the consequence that people put in their list because they have school, homework, family, jobs, or etc. Time has to be split and thought about for someone to make the time, to make 30 minutes on going to the gym. The definition of health adapted by most scholars encompasses all the dimensions of a person’s well-being, not only focusing on physical health. It also emphasizes that health does not equate to not having any sickness.
The dimensions of health make-up and create an image of our overall health. This paper will refer to the dimensions of health in relation to myself, and what health change within one dimension would be beneficial to my health as a whole. Health, as defined by the World Health Organization (2014), is a state of total physical, mental and social well-being, not just when disease, illness or injury are absent (p. 1). My definition of health focuses on feeling well enough to perform everyday tasks and to perform these tasks to the best of my ability.
People spend millions of dollars every year on drugs that they are convinced that will help you lose weight, grow hair, reduce stress, anxiety, and plenty of other things. I wish I could have all of the money they have wasted on those products. What if they knew of something that would help them lose weight, improve cardiovascular health, help control stress, help improve muscle, bone, and joint health, benefit diabetic problems, and could do many other things to benefit their health? Exercise is something that is proven to help all of these things, but not a lot of people exercise on a regular basis. This is something that you do not have to pay for, so what is stopping everyone from exercising? There are many positive effects of exercising and very little negative effects. I wonder how much a pill that helped all of those things would set you back?
Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is more important today than past years. With the development and improvement of myriad medicines, along with food additives and genetically engineered food it is not surprising that people need to care more for their bodies. There are twenty four hours in one day yet often times we feel like we don't have enough time to get everything done. As humans we come up with excuses on why we can't do things. A lot of feel like we just don't have enough time to go workout, but did you know research shows you’re more likely to get more done after working out, than if you don't work out at all. Many studies have come to the conclusion that individuals who participate in health and wellness routines as well as a regular exercise program have a relatively increased degree of energy, lower healthcare bills, much better quality of life along with less stress, as well as improved health. Staying in good physical shape and healthy calls for everyone, to be conscious of their health, to be aware of the key fitness and health components and to follow them.

Finding and understanding the ways in which we can best take care of ourselves, and then applying them, gives us the opportunity to improve our physical, cognitive, mental and emotional wellbeing.
