Recommended: History of broadway

As the sales of Harry Potter and the Cursed child continue to rake in millions within the theatre seen in London, it seems as if all of the theaters within New York City have been striving for the oppruntiy to bring it to their audience. Things must be looking real good for Colin Callender and Sonia Friedman - producers of the play - who have the upper hand over Broadway theater.

Typically what occus when a producer creates a play is that they essentially have to take a number and wait in line as they pray that Nederlanders, Shuberts or Juhamcyn give their play a house. However, due to the fact that Harry Potter itself is well known throughout the country and has had a ten year run in the cinemas, the shoes have been turned and now the landloards are being …show more content…

However, due to popular deman by an abduandnace of Broadway theater owners in NYC, many speculate that it may arrive as early as next fall. However, the question that lies to be answered is which broadway theater will Harry Potter be home to?

For starters, the Ambassador Theatre Group have publicly said that they would love to receive the show for it's Lyric Thatre. However, many experts have proclaimed that Lyric Theatre is a place where "multimillion dollar shows, go to die" such as the doomed shows: Spider-Man, Ragtime, Turn Off the Dark and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang".

The Nederlanders have demonstarted an interest in Harry Potter but is currently home to "Cats" which many experts beleive will be around for at leat one more year, which should free up some space for Harry Potter by spring of 2018.

The Shuberts on the otherhand will be avilable to showcase Harry Potter once Josh Grobans leaves "Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 next year.

However, one source proclaimed at The Winter Garden would be an ideal thater for Harry Potter to be showcases in, due to its sheer size which is large, but not neccasirly
