Recommended: Choosing university: Which one should I go

There are many factors that one must consider in order to choose the right university that fits them. This decision is very difficult because various colleges have many different pros, and cons. Maryland has over fifty colleges, and universities. University of Maryland, College Park, and Salisbury University being two of them. However, from their location, social aspects, and faculties offered they have nothing in common. University of Maryland is a huge campus, very school spirited, with large varieties of majors, and Salisbury University a laid back small campus, with closely knit classes, with fewer clubs, and organizations. One of most important things about going to college is to enjoy the college experience. Sometimes aspects outside of the classroom like location, and social life are just as important, than what you learn inside the class room. Making University of Maryland, College Park, more desirable than Salisbury University in that sense.
The right physical setting must appeal to you, seeing as you're going to spend the next four

years, or more at the university you choose. Salisbury University is located in Salisbury, MD,

with a population of 31,243 (State and County Quick Facts).Consequently, when you google

things to do in Salisbury only a couple things pop up; Salisbury zoo; Ward Museum of Wildfowl

Art; Pemberton Hall. On the other hand, University of Maryland College Park, is located in

College Park, a city in Prince George's County, with a population of 890,081(State and County

Quick Facts). More importantly, the college is only a twenty minute drive from the nations

capital Washington, D.C. With hundreds of different kinds of museums; malls; and national
